YUKON beta

Hi,

Because of the early nature of Yukon, the bits were not provided outside of major events such as PDC and PASS (including MSDN Universal subscribers).

Beta 2 will be distributed to MSDN Universal subscribers.

When will this happen? I currently work in a SQL server enivromnet where we manage over 100 SQL2000 database servers containing over 700 databases ranging form a few gigs to over 700GB. We would like to get involved with beta teating the project as we will need to be an early adopter of the project.

It is recommended that you discuss this with your Microsoft account team. Any installation of this size has an account team who can facilitate the beta. This process may also help you become an early adopter.

hum .. and how do I find out who my account team is? Didn't know I had one. Would this be the people that deal with the licenses at our company?

that would be helpfull. I sent an email to the director I report to but I have not heard anything yet. The company I work at was bought last year by another company. SO basically I sit on a little Island we call the SOC. I know once a month we send a list of SQL Servers we install to some at the corporate office....
